Jeremiah 17:8-9: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”
HEART:
People are assigned to Earth for a purpose: to learn, praise, and worship God. Jesus, the Son of Man, shows us how to do this. Yet our hearts create paths that can lead us the wrong way.
My hardest lesson is to think about others outside of my “circle.” My heart often leads me astray, and I usually think about my children and myself. How selfish I am! This article is for me, to correct my bad habits. You all get to read what I share. Lol.
Dream:
In a dream, a man saw a CIRCLE of silver coins. In the middle of the circle were coins that formed the shape of Jesus on the cross. The Holy Spirit showed the man a close-up of the coin. It had Jesus’ face and a crown on His head. He heard the words “HEAVENLY MONEY.” What does that mean?
We need to use a paradigm shift. Inside our “circle” should be Christ, not what we want. What “I” want to do should be last on our list.
We are often focused on making money. It’s not a bad thing; we need it to live. Yet life on Earth is short. The Bible doesn’t promise us tomorrow (Proverbs 27:1).
Matthew 7:21: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Through all my mistakes in life, I have discovered an illumination. I don’t mind if I die. I know for most this sounds morbid. The older I get, the more I understand. The more I understand about the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, the farther I get from worldly views.
Note: Once you are alive for Christ, rejection is how the world rewards us. The more we work for “heavenly money,” the harder the world makes it for us.
Money is something I use for God’s kingdom. This is another shift. I once used money for “me, myself, and I”—the unholy Trinity in MY circle. Now, little by little, Jesus moves closer to the center. Is He completely in the center of my life? No, but the work continues.
Imagine a stage spotlight. An actor stands where? In the center to be plainly seen. This is Jesus in our lives, in our hearts. He must stand centered in the spotlight (heart) of us. Any other place He stands is the wrong place.
KINGDOM:
Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come, your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:3: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
God’s Kingdom is not a place on earth. It is what resides in us and is the result of faith (Hebrews 11:1). “Practice your faith” is the modern term. Exactly right.
The Aramaic for “kingdom of God” is “malkut dishmaya” or “malkut d’adonai.”
“Malkut” is the key word. It literally means “source of power.” Example: a king exercising his sovereign power.
“Dishmaya” refers to heaven, an eternal state. This word is used often in Yiddish. Jewish documents start, “with the help of heaven.” “Adonai” is God.
I used to wonder how Jesus was able to perform miracles: water into wine, healings, casting out demons.
Jesus, as a man, had direct access to God the Father.Jesus speaks in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.”
As obedient believers, we too can access the Father, through Jesus. It takes building and believing in faith.”
… On earth as it is in heaven.” People have told me not to have blind faith, not to have blind trust. I don’t; I trust in heaven and God’s power. “Malkut,” the source of power. Access this, then see God at work. I have had miracle prayers answered in hours or days. Not my imagination, because it happened multiple times.
Our problem is impatience. A true God test takes time. 40 years for Moses. Joseph, 13 years. Abraham, 100 years. I have held a promise for 4 decades.
Sometimes I say, “God, if you are not going to use me, then take me home.” Strange attitude, I know, yet read about Paul. Philippians 1:21: “To live is Christ, to die is gain.” I have a distaste for the world. I am in a hurry to fulfill my assignment so I can go home.
My hands have arthritis. Every night I pray, “Lord, there’s no arthritis in heaven, so I should not have arthritis on earth.” Little by little, I can feel the joints loosening. Little by little, I feel the muscles strengthen.
I practice my faith.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit…” “Poor” isn’t a good translation. I read this and pictured a homeless man. Rags for clothes and a tin cup. “Does anyone have faith they can share with me? I haven’t had any faith for days.”
“Poor” means the level of desperation. Your dependence on Jesus, as God.I desire His attention. I want to learn more about Him. I seek the fullness of God. Yes, who doesn’t.
Vision:
A man praying on his couch was transported to his ministry school. Behind the podium was a giant angel. Huge wings folded behind his back. In his hand was a flaming sword. He called the man forward with his free hand. When the man reached the front, the angel motioned for the man to kneel. The angel came around facing the man, pressed the sword across the man’s back, then disappeared. The man was transported back home. For a month, the man felt the burning sensation across his back.
Zechariah 4:6 “So he said to me, ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord.’”
Our hearts and God have been united through Jesus.
God’s kingdom is the source we must access and accept. It is how we battle the world.
Time for us to practice our faith in the Heart Kingdom.
Blessings and love to you all.
