Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
one night a man had a dream. He was in a great cavern. On the opposite end of the cave where he stood, was a pool of molten gold. There was a revolving chain that led into the pool of gold to the ceiling. The chain lifted out golden people. The conveyor system was very very slow. A worker showed up and stood next to the man. The man asked, “how can we speed up the process of the golden people?”. In which the worker replied, this is impossible, because if you speed up the process, the golden people will not be complete. They will be missing an arm or a leg.
there is a key to divine intervention, and a Christian’s destiny. It’s called faith.
Hebrews 11:1, now Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
faith is trust, reliance and patience. How do we gain faith? It is discovering our faith by stepping towards Jesus. Testing limits .
My dad taught me to swim in the ocean. Floating on the waves, playing in the water, learning to paddle and kick. Soon my dad and I were racing.
Read the bible, pray, talk to pastors and live a Christian life. The tests of faith will come. Resolve them through God.
You will also notice that there isn’t a timeframe, when the mountains will be removed. Again, trust, reliance and patience. Yes, it is difficult. Faith can’t be seen, reads the scripture. Yet we have assurance in God, which is stronger than hope.
My experiences include homelessness, cold and hunger. Yet God saw me out of it, in due time. When I was suffering, I wanted a solution asap. Yet, what would I have learned by rushing God?
there is an old joke that goes like this, a man was drowning and he was begging God to save him. I’ll do anything for you Jesus, just save me. Just then a big wave washed him ashore. The man replied, never mind God, I don’t need your help after all. Microwave answers results in a non complete faith.
Farmers plant the seeds. They don’t dig up the seeds to check on the plants. The farmers know for certain that plants will grow. Yes, farmers give care to the seed. Experience says, it will happen, in due time.
Martin Luther planted many seeds in his lifetime, yet died before the true harvest. He got frustrated, that people didn’t take him seriously, but he kept moving forward with God. People thought Luther was out of place, going against the government church.
i talk to pastors, who invest in ideas, that they themselves have doubt in. Yet, they press forward with faith, sensing Gods hand.
…if God is for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31)
faith is the key to our destiny.
