Called 4 Jesus

Wanting people to get close to Jesus

open door policy

Hello family. I greet you in the name of Jesus.

Revelation 3:20. NIV

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

it’s interesting how God deserved things. Last week I had prepared the first blog topic. Yet for some reason it didn’t feel right. I asked the Lord for if my first blog was pleasing to Him.

so late last night, the holy spirit answered me

He wanted a different name for the blog. A different topic and guided me.

The purpose of the site is to help others, by sharing my experiences with Jesus. To honor Jesus. Lastly, to fulfill my calling.

So, imagine there is a knock on your door. You lower the volume on your electronics. You peep out the window.

Its a pesky salesman. You ignore the knocking, hoping he goes away. Knocking stops, you continue with life as normal.

Maybe some of you answer the door. As the salesman rattles on about hope, eternity. Your ears turn off. Brain goes into neutral. You smile, nod your head politely. Blah, blah, blah… “No thank you,” is the answer

Maybe some people know Jesus. The salesman next door. You have a chat, after answering the door. “Nice guy that Jesus. Some day I’ve got to know him better.”

Some might know him as a close friend. “Hey Jesus, come on in.”. You have a good conversation. Laugh, eat lunch, talk

Then there are those that have an open door policy with Jesus. He doesn’t knock, he lets himself in. You share everything with him. Good, bad and ugly. He is your advisor, best friend and closest family member.

This is what we all need. An open door policy.

With the above bible text we see God gave us free will to choose. Life, liberty, pursuit…

Now for those reading and not yet accepted Jesus. Please do this. He WILL change your life. If you truly let Jesus in.

prayer: Jesus, I come to you with a humble heart. Forgive me my sins and renew my life. Come into my heart. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

Now find a good church, obtain a bible and pray. Pray like you talk to a friend.

Next blog… Luke 4. “Rain falls on everyone.

God bless!
